FAIRshake: Assess the FAIRness of Biomedical Digital Objects
FAIRshake is a browser extension developed by maayanlabapps that allows users to assess the compliance of biomedical digital research objects with the FAIR guiding principles. With the goal of making digital research objects more findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable, FAIRshake offers a systematic approach to evaluating the FAIRness of these objects.
The extension features a 3x3 grid of colored squares, known as the FAIR insignia, which visually represents the FAIRness level of the digital objects. This grid helps identify areas of strength and weakness in the FAIRness of the objects, providing guidance to producers on how to improve their products.
